I recently visited Mr. Halal in Cohoes, and I was impressed by the delicious Middle Eastern style cuisine! The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I ordered the chicken zinger burger and mixed ( lamb & chicken) over rice, which was flavorful and generously portioned. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Highly recommend for a quick and satisfying meal.
Super delicious, lots of seating available but seems like most people come in and carry out. Would recommend to anyone, the sauces are out of this world so yummy! Parking can be tricky, there's a public lot across the street but can already be full most times. Street parking available too
I had to edit because the review I originally wrote wouldn't post and then I was in a hurry but still wanted to leave a review of one of my new favorite places: Wife and I popped in looking for a place to spend a date night. This is definitely more counter-service HOWEVER...I can not emphasize enough how good it is and how much we love it. This is our new Sunday night take-out spot!! We will be back regularly! Awesome food, large portions, and great price. (The green sauce....get the green sauce!)

The meat was juicy, the cheese perfectly melted, and the bun soft and fresh — just the right combination of flavors and textures. I've tried so much food from this place& have not been disappointed with anything I've ordered on Uber Eats. I've had burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, fries both plain& cheese, Philly cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks& 2 different chicken sandwiches. Love how they package the sandwiches to keep them hot& fresh. All the sandwiches were absolutely amazing. The fries plentiful& excellently seasoned& as for the cheese they add to the cheese fries they add enough. The mozzarella sticks crunchy& gooey. Mr Halal's in Cohoes is the first restaurant you should think of for good food. Just tried the chicken over rice platter& the fish& chips meal. Do you guys do anything wrong lmao. Both we're amazing& the portions huge. I'm a huge eater& even I couldn't finish it. That's OK leftovers for the next night's dinner.
